Lough Derg Yacht Club is pleased to invite 4 teams each from LDYC and LRYC to participate in the LDYC/LRYC Invitational Keelboat Regatta 2012 which will be held on Saturday 18th / Sunday 19th February 2012 at Lough Derg Yacht Club using the Sailfleet J80 Keelboats Entry fee is €100 per boat, divided between a crew of 4 or 5. Accommodation is being organised for Friday and Saturday night in cottages with accommodation for 6, 1 Double and 2 twins at € 180 / 6 / 2 = € 15 per person per night, total € 55 per person for boat and bed. LRYC entrants should Download the entry form and email it to commodorelryc@gmail.com by Monday 6th February. Successful entrants will be informed as soon as possible thereafter. (If necessary the sailing committee will meet to adjudicate. Their decision will be final.) Later Entries if teams are not allocated in full will be accepted up Thursday 16th February 2012. If you have any questions, call Alan Algeo at 087 9960057 There is a minimum excess figure on the insurance of € 1,000 per accident, therefore each participant has to pay a deposit of €62.50 to cover the excess for one accident on a LRYC boat. (1000/16=62.5). If each boat had an accident the maximum payout would be €250 per participant. The €62.50 deposit will be returned if there are no claims. In the event of more than four teams wishing to participate, the Sailing Committee will have a final and absolute right to determine the teams and to allocate reserve status in order to any unsuccessful teams.
