DESCRIPTION:The 50th Shannon Long Distance race.\n\nStart at Lough Ree yacht club at 10am on Saturday the 24th of June. First Race to Athlone just north of the town bypass. Continue downriver until we reach Banager. Overnight in Banager and continue on to Meelick and then Portumna for prizegiving.\n\nThere will be a bus for those who wish to drop off there trailers beforehand in Portumna\, this shall leave at 8.30pm on the Friday.
